Frank Miller, David Aja, Jae Lee, Matteo Scalera and Marcio Takara.... All artists who's styles have evolved hugely over the course of their career. For some that's just their style slowly evolving, ad for others they actively decided to change up the style between projects.

So for today's Illustrator Reacts to Good and Bad Comic Book Art, I decided to change things up a little bit. Largely because of Frank Miller's incredible art and style on projects Like Wolverine, The dark Knight Returns and Sin City... and then him giving us The Dark Knight Strikes Again... which... ya know, there are a million good things to say about Frank Miller's work, but yikes, that comic! Then I also knew I wanted to talk about how David Aja really changed up his style between Immortal Iron Fist and Hakweye. Both had incredible art and both are iconic runs for the character, but they do have drastically different looks and his art style reflected the personalities of the characters in a very impressive way.

Then of course Jae Lee has had an incredible art career that started in the 90s. And back then he was doing very 90s looking art, during which time despite giving us some great artwork, he also gave us an iconicly bad Namor cover, though made up for it many times over with his other Namor work. And of course two other artists I love, Matteo Scalera and Marcio Takara have had a lot of changes to their styles over their career so I go over some of their stuff in comics like Black Science, Hyperkinetic, All New Wolverine, Wolverine the Long Night as well as a strange public service announcement type Spiderman comic.

As most people who have watched the series know, the Illustrator Reacts videos are highly inspired/sort of a rip off of the Corridor Crew's VFX Artists React to Bad and Great CGI and LegalEagle's lawyer reacts videos.
