It's August, and we love to spend these warm, beautiful nights outdoors.
Votive jars are perfect for setting the right atmosphere.
I normally use Sta-Flo to keep our shirts and jeans nice and crisp, but we also use it to light up our nights!
We'll also need fabric, ribbons or twine, charms and pendants, a candle, a mixing bowl, a jar, and a pair of scissors.
First, place your candle inside the jar.
Measure out your fabrics and cut them carefully.
Put the fabric into your trusty mixing bowl, and let it soak in Sta-Flo for at least five minutes.
No-one wants a lumpy jar, so wipe off any excess Sta-Flo.
Then wrap your fabric around the jar keeping it taut and free of bubbles.
The jar should sit overnight to allow Sta-Flo to work its magic.
The next day, decorate your ribbon with the charms and pendants, and tie it to your jar.
These inexpensive and gorgeous votive jars help complete our nights together under the stars!
