People of all ages can get possessed regardless of their religion, age, gender or ethnicity etc. Sometimes jinns will possess people to get their revenge on the person who may have accidently hurt them or urinated on them etc.
ReplyDeleteOther times jinns will simply find a person weak and easy to possess so they possess them. Possession can only occur when they are no longer protected by Allah and while the person is in a state of spiritual and mental weakness.
So if the person is indulging in sin, such as not wearing hijab, not praying, haram lust, music, smoking or drinking intoxicants etc these things create spiritual weakness. It may also be that the jinn saw someone, men or women, whom they felt attracted to and possessed them as a result.
But the most common cause of possession is black magic which is rife in many cultures around the world.
Mental weakness can occur in various circumstances such as when a person is drifting off to sleep, while experiencing extreme emotions such as anger, sadness and lust. Mental weakness can also occur when a person is day dreaming and meditating.
In all of these scenarios a person is not fully aware or drifting between the conscience and the unconscious mind sometimes referred to as the sub-conscience.
Whatever the reason for possession maybe the jinns "fall in love" with the victims in many of the cases, especially where the jinn is of an opposite gender to the victim. There are instances however where jinns have displayed homosexual behavior towards the victims or towards other people. Similar to human beings there are homosexual jinns too.
Another angle of looking at this is that a sister could get possessed by a male jinn which feels desire towards other women and the sister feels disgusted because she thinks its herself feeling such things.
La hawla wala quwwatha illa billah. There is no might or power except with Allah. May Allah protect us from such things.
The victim of jinn possession should always remember that they are pure and the jinns are filthy. Since the two individuals are sharing one body the character of the one who is stronger will be dominant. But a Muslim is pure and does not get dark or depraved thoughts. A pure Muslim does not indulge excessively in filling his stomach or fulfilling desires, even if they are halal.
The more the victim engages in promiscuous actions the more the jinns becomes convinced that it is in love with the person or the person belongs to them.
The jinns are like hormonal teenagers whom suffer from emotional mood swings. Their feelings of attraction are also exaggerate to the point they feel they are in love with the person over the smallest things. e.g. A girl may show a boy a small act of kindness such as a smile and the boy assume that she likes him. And the more he thinks about her the more he feel attracted to her.
The jinn can see through your eyes and hear your thoughts so if that person does not protect themselves when they get undressed or going to the toilet, intimacy with ones spouse etc then they are only making the situation worse. Hence why there are so many duas taught to us by the prophet (pbuh) to protect ourselves in such situations.
4.900,000 and three of Allah's Handfuls will enter Jannah without judgment who are they? Read the Proof below and watch the video in sha Allah.
ReplyDeleteImaam al-Bukhaari (may Allaah have mercy on him) narrated in his Saheeh from Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I was shown the nations, and some Prophets passed by with a few followers, and some Prophets passed by with no followers. Then I was shown a great multitude, and I said, ‘What is this? Is this my ummah?’ It was said, ‘No, this is Moosa and his people.’ It was said, ‘Look at the horizon.’ There I saw a huge multitude filling the horizon. And it was said, ‘Look there, and there, on the horizons of the sky.’ There was a multitude filling the horizons. It was said, ‘This is your ummah, and of these, seventy thousand will enter Paradise without being brought to account.’” Then he [the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)] went inside, without explaining further. The people started to discuss what he had said, saying, “We are the ones who have believed in Allaah and followed His Messenger; we are they” or, “It is our children who were born in Islam whilst we were born in Jaahiliyyah.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) heard about what was being said, so he came out and said: “They are the ones who do not seek ruqya, do not believe in bad omens and do not use branding; they put their trust in their Lord…”
What the hadeeth means is that there is a group of this ummah who will enter Paradise without being brought to account, not that the number of inhabitants of Paradise from this ummah is seventy thousand. The seventy thousand referred to in this hadeeth are of a high status in this ummah because of some special qualities that they have, as mentioned in the hadeeth: “They are the ones who do not seek ruqya, do not believe in bad omens and do not use branding; they put their trust in their Lord…”
The reason why they will enter Paradise without being brought to account and without being punished is stated clearly in another report narrated by al-Bukhaari (may Allaah have mercy on him) from Ibn ‘Abbaas, who said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘I was shown the nations. One Prophet passed by with a group, another passed by with a small band, another with ten followers, another with five, and another on his own (with no followers). I looked and saw a huge multitude, and I said, “O Jibreel, are these my ummah?” He said “No, but look at the horizon.” So I looked and saw a huge multitude. He said, “These are your ummah, and these are seventy thousand at their head who will not be brought to account or punished.” I said, “How come?” He said, “They do not use branding, or seek ruqya, or believe in bad omens; they put their trust in their Lord.”’ ‘Ukhaashah ibn Mihsan stood up and said, ‘Pray to Allaah to make me one of them!’ He [the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)] said, ‘O Allaah, make him one of them.’ Then another man stood up and said, ‘Pray to Allaah to make me one of them.’ He said, ‘ ‘Ukaashah has beaten you to it.’” (Saheeh al-Bukhaari, 6059).
